New MEM clip-on face plates

When we designed the clip-on range of face plates, we had three distinct groups of people in mind: the consumer, the specifier, and the contractor. So we built in all the flexibility that we could - without losing the style, quality and durability that all our customers demand.

Because the plates are easily clipped on and off, sockets or switches can be fully installed, tested and left in a safe condition before a face plate finish has even been selected.

The wide selection of decorative and metal finishes means that installations can be tailored to complement any interior décor - traditional or contemporary. So the new home owner can choose his own finish.

And of course, being clip on and off, all fixing screws are hidden away and decoration â€" plastering, papering or painting, for example - is made cleaner and easier.

Another major consideration is to meet building regulations. For instance Part M, which applies to the visually impaired, asks that face plates should contrast in colour with the back wall - in this case, simply resolved with a clip on plate that can be installed after the wall colour has been chosen.

Similarly, contrasting rockers and face plates are available, as well as a range of broad rocker switches and outboard rockers on sockets.
